The money raised will go a long way towards decreasing the time to diagnosis for many children with FPIES and reduce the number of repeat reactions in babies and young children.

During half term Joseph, Keira, Maggie and Cobie were very excited to have the opportunity to take part in an FPIES UK promotional photoshoot with the very talented Lucy Wright from Lucy Wright Design and Photography. The children really enjoyed pretending to be Doctors and making Frankie Bear better. We are very grateful to Lucy for all her time, help and support with this project. Having experienced the frightening nature of food allergies with her own child, Lucy kindly offered the photoshoot and resulting pictures free of charge!
Find out more about Lucy on her website and Facebook page.
Nutricia Paediatric Allergy Symposium 24th September
FPIES UK Trustees, Louise and Odette recently attended the Nutricia paediatric allergy symposium at Birmingham Botanical Gardens. They were able to meet and network with many Doctors, dieticians and specialist allergy nurses. The day proved to be a huge success! Some of the primary care staff had never heard of FPIES and others were just starting to gain a few patients with the condition. All of the extra information we were able to give them was gratefully received!
This valuable opportunity to liaise and work with these key members of the UK allergy teams, proved very productive. Our awareness literature was much appreciated as well as the support that we can offer these families, which often the front line medical staff do not always have the time to do. Many newly diagnosed families have been signposted to the FPIES UK support group due to this symposium. Which we are sure you will agree is fantastic!
Thank you to all who have raised funds, and continue to raise funds for FPIES UK... By raising funds and working together, we can continue with our awareness campaign

BSACI Conference 4-6th September 2015
FPIES UK were present at the British society for allergy and clinical immunolgy conference which was held in Telford. It was a great chance to hear many of our medical board talk about all things allergy. Dr Spergel former medical chair of I-FPIES also took part giving a talk on FPIES.
It was a fabulous opportunity to meet up with other fantastic charities, in particular the Anaphylaxis Campaign and Allergy UK.
We were very fortunate to also have our own slots on the Nutricia ask the expert stand and are very grateful to Zoe, James and the Nutricia team who invited us to take part.
